“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” - Howard Thurman

For the past decade I have had the privilege of serving diverse children, youth and families in providing support for their overall well-being. I earned my BS in Psychology from the University of Florida, followed by a transformative year of Americorps service with Mercy Home for Boys and Girls in Chicago, IL. After working in my hometown of Florida I continued my education at the University of Central Florida and earned my Counselor Education MA in Mental Health Counseling. While at UCF I had the joy of serving as graduate assistant within the Office of Student Involvement supporting over 600 student organizations, and the development of diverse student leaders. After working in the mental health field under preliminary licensure (LGPC) for the past two years, I have decided to shift my attention again to supporting students in higher education!

In my time of leisure you can find me at the wheel throwing pots, reading a good book, or exploring the great outdoors!
