I have a BA in English from Haverford College, a Master of Letters in the Novel from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, and an MS. Secondary Education from Dowling College. I have taught for almost a decade on topics from SAT and ACT prep to college writing. For the last three years, I was an instructor in the ENG 101 course at The Catholic University of America and just made the transition over the summer from the classroom to the advising team. I believe in the power of education to transform lives, and I am proud of the work our team does to support students while they are in their undergraduate years and then prepare students for their careers after they graduate. I was born and raised in New York, but as an Army wife I have moved around a lot and I have lived in Texas, Arizona, and Washington state before settling in Maryland. In my free time, I enjoy reading, travel, photography and watching soccer
