Each fall and spring semester, CACS hosts a university-wide career fair open to all majors, class levels, and degree levels. Typically, the Catholic Career Fairs attract 80+ employers, which serve as your chance to find internships and job opportunities. Attending a career fair can only improve your career readiness and professionalism by building upon essential networking skills needed to propel your career continuously. As you prepare to attend a Catholic Fair, CACS has put together advice, workshops, and events to help prepare you to soar into your next ample opportunity.

Career Fair Dates:

Spring 2025 Career & Internship Fair

Friday, February 7
Pryzbyla Center Great Rooms

What To Expect

Prior to the Career Fair, we host Career Week, a week of events building up to the Career Fair. The workshops and programs are designed to ensure that you are fully prepared.

Our CatholicU Career Fairs are hybrid, containing in-person and virtual elements. Not all employers that participate virtually will be in person. Likewise, not all employers participating in person will be participating virtually. It is essential to plan accordingly for a fair by visiting the registration page and signing up for timeslots with employers that will only meet virtually with students the day before the fair. For a complete list of employers that will be virtual and in-person, please click on the schematic below.

Attending a Career Fair in Person - Plan to dress business professional or business casual; Bring copies of your resume; prepare your elevator pitch. Shake off your nerves at the prep station by grabbing a cup of coffee or water, taking a moment to collect your thoughts, or even asking CACS Advisors for some encouraging words.
Signing up for Virtual Interview –
Group sessions will have a custom title and indicate a length of 30 minutes, and 1:1 sessions are indicated by EMPLOYER NAME and are 10 minutes each. If multiple divisions (departments) from the company have registered, the group session title may include the division name for clarity! Click on the session name you'd like to sign up for.
Click on the name of the fair you'd like to participate in. Right above the listed Contact's information, there are three tabs:
  • Available sessions - click this tab to review available employer sessions
  • Your schedule - once you've signed up for at least one session, this is where the session details are listed (and how you'll join the session when it starts)
  • Career fair details -the default tab that loads with fair setup details
If you click the Register, a confirmation popup will appear on your screen –– click View Employer sessions. Clicking "View employer sessions"; will take you to the Available Sessions. You can return to this tab anytime to register for more sessions, even during the fair!
When you locate an employer that you'd like to sign up for a session with, look for the session information to appear below the employer's name and description.

Things to look out for…
Review the information, and if you'd like to proceed, click Confirm to sign up. If a Group Session is at capacity, it will not appear in the list any longer, so if it's listed, that means there is still availability. You can sign up for only one session per recruiter –– to sign up with another recruiter, click on "One on One with EMPLOYER NAME" again and select your preferred session. If there's a red dot to the right of a session start time, that indicates you are currently signed up for a different session. To sign up for this session, you'd need to cancel the existing session sign-up.
