I was born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, home town of Blessed Michael McGivney. I earned a B.A and M.A. in History from the University of Connecticut. While in college I took advantage of experiential learning opportunities outside the classroom. Leading to my involvement with different non-profits, serving on their boards, and being appointed / elected to city boards and commissions. I have years of experience in the social service field, working with diverse populations navigating complex policies and program requirements, developing and implementing goal-oriented service plans.
My advising philosophy consists of helping students navigate the complex college environment. Together we will reflect on different academic choices and how coursework relates to future goals and opportunities. I am a proponent of experiential learning, and look forward to assisting students in reflecting on their experiences and taking advantage of everything Catholic University has to offer.
