I enjoy helping students to explore their interests and determine their goals with the hope of setting them on a path to a fulfilling career.  I hope that the students with whom I work will begin to understand the college experience as the beginning of their careers in many ways.  The grades that they will earn and the accomplishments that they will achieve while here are investments in their futures. Further, the people that they meet here will be an important part of their professional network well beyond these years.

A little about me…I have spent most of my career in law school student services working with law students and prospective law students while in the Offices of Admissions and Student Affairs at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and the Career Development Office at the George Washington University Law School.  In addition to my experience in law schools, I have served as a recruiter for the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Before that, I worked in the legal staffing industry for Spherion Legal Group in Washington DC.

I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio.  I received an LLM in Litigation and Dispute Resolution from the George Washington University Law School and a JD from the Washington College of Law at American University.  Before law school, I earned my BA in English from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA.
